MD TP13: Contribution of TREM1 to cutaneous inflammation
The triggering receptor on myeloid cells (TREM)-1 has been shown to be differentially expressed in several models of infection and in few models of inflammation. The functional relevance of increased TREM1 expression has, however, not been evaluated in inflammatory conditions.
We recently generated TREM1 deficient mice. We here will use these mice to address the functional contribution of TREM1 in cutaneous inflammation, exemplified by psoriasis, epidermolysis bullosa acquisita and allergic contact dermatitis.
