TP A5: Role of C5a/C5aR for autoantibody production
We recently identified a novel pathway to modulate C5aR-mediated signaling and also demonstrated a crucial role of C5a in the effector phase of epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA, Karsten et al, Nat. Med.).
Here we will focus on the role of the C5a/C5aR axis for the induction of autoantibdies in the context of immunization-induced experimental EBA.
